A single-process color involves an all-over color application. It only gives a one-dimensional tone which can be as light or dark as your natural or current color allows.

A double process is typically used when you want to lighten your hair by more than two shades. Firstly, the hair is bleached to remove natural or colored hair pigments, and then pigment is added into the hair to create the desired shade
